什么是 Pre-A-Level?
Pre-A-Level也被称作A-Level预科课程，是专门为国际学生在英国参加A-Level课程所设立的提前准备(It is an advanced preparation for international students to participate in A-level courses in the UK)。

什么是IGCSE课程?
IGCSE(普通中等教育证书)是英国大多数学生在16岁时参加的学术资格。众所周知，IGCSE考试是一种更为全面正规的课程体系(As we all know, IGCSE examination is a more comprehensive and formal curriculum system)，学生通常选修5至14个科目，并且IGCSE在世界100多个国家都能够修读，能够普遍得到认可。所以相比之下IGCSE的难度也比Pre-A-Level要高，学生要在一年内修满6门课，毕业后直接凭成绩申请A-Level(In contrast, IGCSE is also more difficult than pre-a-level. Students should complete 6 courses in a year and apply for A-level directly based on their grades after graduation)，当然所有的课程体系都要具体学生具体分析，像是学习能力较强且英文较好的学生，就很适合学习IGCSE课程表。一年制的IGCSE毕业后，学生有资格参加GCSE的统一考试(After graduation from the one-year IGCSE, students are eligible to take the GCSE unified examination)，从而获得与GCSE同等水平的学历水平，相当于走了一条快速“捷径”获得GCSE的证书。
IGCSE的热门课程有语言类：汉语、法语等;人文和社会学科类;科学、数学、应用类等，课程与GCSE近乎一致。有家长会产生疑问，那么GCSE课程和IGCSE课程又有什么区别呢(The course is almost consistent with GCSE.
