       1.打印课程说明书，了解其中包含的内容(Print the course manual to understand what it contains)，更重要的是在学习过程中理解说明书的每一点。

　　2. 创建一个包含关键词和方程式的词汇表(Create a vocabulary containing keywords and equations)，并提供详细的定义/解释。

　　3.A-level化学有一些新的复杂的概念，你必须去理解并且用自己的语言去解释它们(There are some new and complex concepts in chemistry. You must understand them and explain them in your own language)。为了更清晰地理解这些概念，可以和朋友一起讨论，并阅读额外的材料来加强理解。

　　4. 练习。练习试题的重要性再怎么强调也不为过(The importance of practicing test questions cannot be overemphasized)，使用教材中的题目、真题和其他考试局的试卷(但要注意，有些知识点你所学的大纲中可能并不包含)，不要只是死记硬背答案，要理解它们(Don‘t just memorize the answers, understand them)。阅读考官报告，找出他们想要看到的是什么样的答案。

　　我的AS和A2化学成绩都是A。我过去常做的是压缩讲义和课本中的信息，并且充分利用教科书里的小结和练习题(What I used to do was to compress the information in the handouts and textbooks, and make full use of the summaries and exercises in the textbooks)。

　　在课堂测试和模拟之前，我使用physics and maths tutor网站打印了考试风格的问题。大约在4月/复活节的时候，开始使用真题(Start using real questions around April / Easter)，化学最重要的就是练习，但前提是你要理解内容。

　　A-level化学包含更多的数学，所以一定要制定一个循序渐进的计划来总结每一种类型的问题(So be sure to make a step-by-step plan to summarize each type of problem)，记忆所有的公式。

　　有的公式很长又很复杂，如果记忆有困难的话，可以把它写在提示卡上(Some formulas are very long and complex. If you have difficulty remembering them, you can write them on the prompt card)，提示卡是一种小卡片，类似于“闪卡”，可以在上面填一些简短的“提示”来帮助你记住信息，这比直接从课本中记忆要好得多。
