01备战夏季大考
各考试局时间安排
对于12年级的同学，近期最大的事莫过于夏季的大考了(For students in grade 12, the biggest thing in the near future is the summer exam)，眼看马上3月，同学们都准备好了吗?先来看看各大考试局的时间安排～

02备战夏季大考
A-Level如何备考?
A-Level夏季大考进入倒计时，最后的两个月各科如何备考就成了重中之重，看完时间安排(In the last two months, how to prepare for the exam has become the top priority. After reading the schedule)，我们来聊聊热门学科看看该如何备考(以CAIE考试局为主)。
数学
首先，由于A-Level的考试性质，考试中绝大部分的题目的内容和难度跟书上内容相近的(The content and difficulty of most of the questions in the exam are similar to those in the book)，所以开始复习时最重要的就是先掌握书上每个章节的知识点和相关例题(Therefore, the most important thing is to master the knowledge points and relevant examples of each chapter in the book)，先要至少了解每个章节学习了什么内容，常见的考题是怎样的。在这个阶段刷题时可适当翻阅笔记，如有不确定的知识点及时查漏补缺。
然后可以开始模拟考试环境，只使用公式书和计算器进行模拟考试，这个阶段的重点是整理错题集(Only formula books and calculators are used for mock exams. The focus of this stage is to sort out the wrong question set)，了解自己的薄弱环节(如计算错误、读题理解错误、思路错误等)，再进行针对性的提高。
最后，在掌握了知识点和进行了较多的题目练习后，可以多进行主动思考(After mastering the knowledge points and practicing more topics, you can think more actively,)，比如这个章节一般是怎么考察的，还可能与其他哪个章节组合考察，做到遇到一个题目时，能把自己带入考官的角度去思考，考官是想如何考察我们(You can bring yourself into the perspective of the examiner. How does the examiner want to examine us)，当我们能做到这点，就有很大希望能取得好成绩了。
经济
CAIE经济考试先考essay再考选择题，所以要优先准备essay的高频考点;CAIE-AS 微观的高频考点：PPC、PED、PES、YED、XED、tax and subsidy;宏观的高频考点：inflation、BOP和policies。
CAIE-A2 essay 微观的高频考点：consumer equilibrium、market structure-perfect competition vs monopoly、oligopoly、labor market、market failure;宏观的高频考点：unemployment、GDP、money demand and supply。
对于essay建议优先准备微观的高频考点，考完essay集中精力刷选择题。
生物
因为CAIE-AL2022年夏考是新大纲第一次考试，因此同学们不仅要把之前的真题刷透，还要仔细阅读教材查缺补漏(Students should not only brush through the previous real problems, but also carefully read the teaching materials to check and make up for deficiencies)，建议阅读教材后，可以通过新大纲每一个条目，作为问答题整理笔记。
对于Edexcel-AL新考纲的真题数量不是特别多，因此建议同学们把2015年之后的真题都刷一遍(There are not many real questions in the new Edexcel al exam outline, so it is recommended that students brush all the real questions after 2015)，熟悉考试题型、问法、和答题方法。然后通过官网上的mapping guide，即新旧大纲在各知识点上的变化对比文件，多新大纲增加的知识力求掌握，应对练题少造成的问题(Try to master more knowledge added in the new outline and deal with the problems caused by less practice questions)。

语言成绩有多重要?
每年都会出现一种情况，当同学们拿到con offer后，却卡在了语言成绩。
所以语言成绩到底有多重要?
一般来看，英国院校对雅思的分数的最低要求为6-6.5分，像英国G5院校(The minimum requirement for IELTS scores in British institutions is 6-6.5, like G5 institutions in the UK)，雅思基本上都需要7分(单项不低于6.5)，不信你看：
英国5所热门大学雅思要求
01.牛津大学
Standard：总成绩不低于7分，听说读写各单项不低于6.5分;
Higher：总成绩不低于7.5分，其中听说读写各单项不低于7分。
02.剑桥大学
总成绩为7.5分，听说读写各单项一般不得低于7分。
03.帝国理工学院
Standard：总成绩不得低于6.5分，其中听说读写各单项不得低于6分;
Higher：总成绩不得低于7分，其中听说读写各单项不得低于6.5分。
04.爱丁堡大学
总成绩至少要达到6.5，单项不低于5.5;
人文与社会科学类：雅思6.5，单项不低于5.5;
科学或工程类：雅思6.5，单项不低于5.5。
05.圣安德鲁斯大学
总成绩至少达到6.5分且单项不低于6.0分;
医学院、艺术与神学院的课程要求7.0分，其中听说读写各单项不得低于7分(The course requirements of medical school, art and Seminary are 7.0 points, among which the individual scores of listening, speaking, reading and writing shall not be less than 7 points)。
注：不同院校、专业对雅思成绩的要求不同
其实想要达到目标大学的语言要求还是有一定难度的(In fact, it is still difficult to meet the language requirements of the target university)，因此需要尽早准备，不要因为语言成绩而错失梦想大学的offer!
